8135 The Motor City Line 70t AAR Hopper - #20657

This ready-to-run HO Scale 70-ton AAR 3-bay hopper car is factory decorated for the freelance Detroit and Illinois Eastern - The Motor City Line. Car is in the black "as delivered" scheme with white lettering and white, red, and black herald. Build date is 7/46 with "BV" reweigh date, repack date, and brake test date in 8/54. Model features wire grab irons, metal wheelsets, metal knuckle couplers, interior bracing, and removable coal load. Graphics were created by Smokebox and have been intricately reproduced, including builder's logos and brake cylinder stencils.
